NuWay’s Spider and Dust Cap manufacturing facilities are located in both the Antioch and Franklin Park facilities.  Our spiders are made from a variety of cotton, poly/cotton, Nomex/cotton and 100% Nomex materials.  Our Dust Caps are made from a variety of plastics (i.e. polypropylene, polycoaronate, & PVC) paper (both sheet stock and felted), woven cotton cloth, and non-woven felt materials, as well as laminates of urethane foam to both woven and non-woven cloths.

We currently have nine (9) different weaves of cotton cloth, four (4) different weaves of poly/cotton cloth, 1 blend of Nomex and Cotton, and two (2) different weaves of 100% Nomex cloth.  In addition to this variety, each of these weaves of cloth can be treated with one of the 19 different treatment concentrations we have available, which allows us to dial in the compliance needed on almost any spider 

We also have approximately 2,500 different spider designs available ranging in size from ¾” to over 10” in diameter.  Our dust caps range in size from 9/16” to about 7” in diameter and we have a wide variety of styles including insert caps, flanged caps, domes, and caps that are glued over the former.  For our largest running spiders we have developed three (3) automatic spider machines that have a capacity of 70-80,000 spider per day running two shifts.
